This circa late 19th or early 20th century hollow and wrought copper eagle vane is in good all original condition with the exception of a coat of reddish brown paint on the head which may be authentic to the era of its making but could have been applied at a later time. Removing it with zip strip is an option I will leave to the buyer. The head is solid cast zinc and will show the gray surface more typical to this example, however, the piece looks fine just as it is, and the vane may be old and part of the history so I leave the option up to you. The hand crafted metal base is supplied free to the purchaser. 23" wide, 24" deep, app. 25.5" H. on stand, 20" H. without base.
