This MYLU Christmas tree pin is like a golden-boughed pine tree with freshly fallen snow on its branches! The gold-tone finish is lustrous, and the faux pearls are creamy and unblemished. Interspersed with the pearls are small clear aurora borealis rhinestones flashing sparks of pink, blue and lavender. The pin is In excellent condition.
The back is marked MYLU. The rollover safety clasp pin mechanism is in fine working order. One of the nice features of Mylu pins is that the pin mechanism is attached at both ends and not a separate light-weight riveted pin back.
Measures approximately 2 1/2” tall by 1 3/4” wide. Shown in the last photo next to a quarter for scale.
Established by Lynne Gordon and Marge Borofsky in the 1960s, MYLU was in business for a relatively short time. It became a division of Coro in 1968, and closed in the early 1970s.
