This beautiful gold-tone Christmas pin made by Jonette Jewelry Company has a zig-zag vibe and is decorated in a fabulous array of sparkling rhinestones in several shapes: large navette or marquise cut, teardrop, and smaller round stones - and colors: red, green, blue, yellow, purple and topped with a clear rhinestone 'star'. The goldtone is burnished and textured, and each "branch" of the tree is finished in a rope-like border. I love the attention that goes into all the details! In overall very good vintage condition and ready to adorn your top. Perfect to wear for those holiday Zoom or FaceTime calls!

Jonette Jewelry Company was established in the 1940s in Rhode Island, and in 1970 started going simply by JJ. This pin is marked "J.J." on the back, with periods, which is the earlier of the JJ marks, which later dropped the periods after the initials. One nice feature is that the pin mechanism is attached at both ends and is not a separate light-weight riveted pin back. The rollover safety clasp is in fine working order, and there is plenty of clearance between the pin stem and back to allow for pinning to a sweater or jacket.
