This sterling silver round disk charm has a cobalt blue enamel finish over a wonderful guilloche background. In the middle of the sea of blue (the Caribbean) is the island of New Providence, in the Bahamas. Although not the largest of the Bahamian islands, it is home to Nassau, the capital city. In the middle of the island can be seen Lake Killarney. Although you can easily see the outstanding engine-turned background in the photos, in person the rich blue looks solid. The enamel is intact with only minor wear.
The charm is marked sterling on the back, with an unknown maker's mark. It looks like it could be the triangular mark for Scandinavian silversmith, Finn Jensen, except that many Scandinavian charms are also marked 925S. There is some wear to the silver on the front, which is shiny, and the back is dull, so I think there is a rhodium element to the finish.
Approximately 5/8" across. In the last photo it is shown next to a dime for scale.
