1933 Chicago World's Fair Souvenir Cuff Bracelet Buildings
Offering a wonderful souvenir of the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair, this is a cuff bracelet that features the Fair’s theme and its logo of the globe and comet. The sides of the cuff show several buildings and attractions from Chicago such as Fort Dearborn, Hall of Science, Electrical Group, Federal Building, Transport Building and the Temple of Jehol. A cool collectible and wearable piece of Chicago history.
MATERIAL Silvertone base metal with faded gold tone plating in the recesses for contrast
SIZE Cuff measures an inside length of 5.5 inches and has a 1.75 inch gap. Will fit about a 7 inch wrist or larger. The cuff measures almost 1.25 inches wide at the center and weighs 11.6 grams.
MARKS Not hallmarked but the design clearly indicates this is a 1933 Chicago World’s Fair souvenir.

SYMBOLISM or HISTORY The 1933 to 1934 Chicago World’s Fair was known as A Century of Progress and celebrated the 100th anniversary of the city. It featured technological advances and innovation.
CONDITION Much of the gold tone plating in the recesses has worn off revealing the silvertone base metal underneath. This gives the cuff a mixed metals look. The last two photos are taken outdoors in natural light. Showing its age but wearable and collectible, this piece is in good vintage condition.
