This frog decoy measures 5 1/4" long by 2 3/8" wide and 1 1/4 " thick.
It is carved in wood with sheet metal legs/fins. The legs are attached to the body in a hinge joint that allows the frog to appear to be swimming when the line is pulled.
It is painted in greens, black and tan. Note how the green from the under body is transitioned to a dark green on the top of the frog. Nicely done.
Also note the large glass eyes.
The decoy is weighted on the bottom and retains a screw eye on the top to fasten a line.
Condition is very good with no losses and no repairs. The surface appears to be original. It doesn't look like this guy saw much action.
