This folk carved model is of a New England fishing dory in common use in the early 1900's. It measures 15 3/4" long by 16 3/4" tall and a 5 3/4" wide.
It is nicely painted in tan, red and green with the skipper dressed in black.
Likely from the first quarter of the 20th Century.
Condition is good. The surface is original. Evidence of a repair to the rudder. The boat is permanently attached to he base.
