This is a matched set of W. Greenslade side bead molding planes. Greenslade was a Bristol, UK plane maker from 1826 to 1927. The marks on this set indicate a date of 1833 to 1846.
This set includes the 1/8", 1/4", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8" and 1" all with the same maker mark and user mark (J. Cranston). The set is only missing the 3/8" size. All the planes have the original wedges and irons and all have a boxwood insert.
It is rare to find sets like these, especially with all the planes rating a G+ condition.
