Here is a paint decorated dry sink that we love so much it is in our kitchen.
It measures 36" wide, 18" deep and 36" tall at the front, about 38 1/2" tall at the back. The design is straightforward, a top section over a two-drawer base. The details are subtle but significant - the backsplash is well shaped, the top and bottom sections are divided visually by a bold molding, and the cutout sides and front form very graceful feet.
The paint decoration really makes the piece. The black on red faux work adds an elegance to the overall design. The faux graining on the two doors is topped by a vertical graining pattern on the front of the upper section.
The condition is excellent with some paint wear as expected. There are age splits on the two sides and top and the knob has been replaced.
The photo of the open cabinet shows that we are using it for wine and alcohol storage as well as other kitchen items. The dry sink makes a wonderful bar at party time and we have put it to use on many occasions. It is really nice when you can decorate with an early 19th Century piece of furniture and also get great everyday use from it.
