We aren't sure if we should call this a weathervane or whirligig - so we will compromise with"whirlivane".
This wooden ""whirlivane" has a well designed and made six blade propellor and well shaped rear section that reminds us of a tail section on a 1930's airplane. All in all, a nice aeronautic look.
The red paint is original and in excellent condition. Doesn't look like this one saw much of the weather. It measures 25 1/2" long, 12" tall and wide and stands 16 3/4" tall on the contemporary stand.
