Picturesque and well-made, this Sterling silver pin depicts a winter landscape with bare trees shining beneath the full moon. The delicate branches of the trees are beautifully crafted in an open work design and the mother-of-pearl ‘moon’ is bezel set. The pin is signed on the reverse 925, with a copyright symbol, and the mark of the maker, which could be JS, but it is so small as to be unreadable, so I could be mistaken. This beauty measures 1 3/8 inches wide, 1 inch long, and is in excellent condition. This pin looks especially attractive when worn atop a dark fabric – the lacy branches are truly stunning.
