This circa 1960s waterfall or bib necklace consists of polished gold tone square box links, arranged in a modernist interpretation of Egyptian Revival style – sleek and sculptural. The necklace is unsigned but clearly designer quality. There are nine chains that form the 'waterfall'; graduated in length, they measure 3 1/2 inches, three and three-quarter inches, 4 inches, and 4 1/4 inches long on each side; the center chain measures 4 1/2 inches long. The double linked collar chain measures 12 inches long, with a 4 inch extender chain, for a total length of 16 inches. It closes with a 'J' hook and has a round ball tail decoration.
