Corocraft Brooch and Earrings – Pave Rhinestones – Mid Century Modern – 1960s - image 1 of 9

This is a marvelous brooch and earrings set by Corocraft – ca. 1960s. As many of you know, Corocraft was Coro’s high end designer line and this set exhibits superior quality design, materials, and craftsmanship. Quite dimensional, the design consists of finely textured layered brushed gold tone leaves with a pave rhinestone encrusted flower at the top. The flower is done in silver tone, which is a nice visual juxtaposition against the gold tone leaves. You can see the silver tone rivets on the reverse where the flower was affixed, always a sign of quality craftsmanship. The rhinestones are likely Austrian in origin. The matching earrings also feature riveted silver tone pave rhinestone leaves, sprouting out of a gold tone leaf base. The brooch is signed Corocraft with a copyright symbol on a rectangular cartouche. The earrings are not signed. The brooch measures 1 7/8 inches long, 1 1/2 inches wide, and approximately 3/8 of an inch in height; the clip back earrings measure 1 inch long and a half inch wide. All pieces are in excellent condition – no missing rhinestones and the gold tone is without flaws. Classically chic, you’ll be admired with this elegant versatile set. Enjoy! $98.00
