Graceful and sleek – I love the imagery of the female Bow Hunter – harkens to Diana the Huntress! This exquisite pair of earrings features beautifully crafted and inlaid abalone shell, in the form of a female Bow Hunter; the abalone is inlaid into a biomorphic shaped Sterling silver plaque. The reverse of one earring is signed Sterling Mexico with the maker’s initials –RCJ – in the center of the circle. It also has the Eagle assay mark, numbered three. I think it likely these earrings date to the 1950s – early 1960s. They measure 1 inch long, three quarters of an inch wide, and weigh 7.7g. They are screw back in style and the mechanism works well. The overall condition is excellent. You’ll love wearing this unusual and distinctive pair – I’ve never seen another like it. Enjoy! $55.00
