I love the dimensional Cubist influence in this brooch. It features olive green buildings with black roofs and windows, atop an electric blue background. Quite distinctive! It is made of brass and exhibits good-quality enameling. The reverse is signed, in Cyrillic letters, Caenaho B CCCP, with some numbers below. This signature and its style help us date it to the Soviet Russian era – probably the 1960s. This unusual and rarely found brooch measures one and three-quarter inches wide, 1 5/8 inches long, and is in excellent condition. Evocative of mid century modernism, you’ll be admired with this. $65.00
