What a statement making stunner – this fabulous signed Miriam Haskell necklace features large oval mottled blue/black art glass stones which beautifully complement the white Baroque pearls. The large art glass stones – each measures 1 1/4 inches long and three quarters of an inch wide – are quite textural and almost certainly handmade – no two are identical. Each stone is separated by a 10 mm and a 14 mm wide Baroque Pearl. Really a striking juxtaposition! The necklace is signed Miriam Haskell, in block letters, on the back of the ‘J’ hook closure. The front of the ‘J’ hook is adorned with Miriam Haskell’s signature dove. I think it likely this necklace dates to the 1960s and was created during the period Robert Clark was head designer for Miriam Haskell, as it features impressive oversized stones – a design characteristic he was known to favor. It measures a significant 32 inches long. The condition is excellent – so often Miriam Haskell pearls have damaged nacre; only one small Pearl at the very end of the tail has slight loss of nacre, as pictured – the others are without blemish. This fine Miriam Haskell is so versatile – it looks great with jeans and business attire. A very wonderful and functional classic – you will be pleased. $325.00
