This vintage 1960s Alpine style hat is so light weight you would never know it was wool! The outside of the hat is extremely soft and the winter white or Ivory color is so very attractive. There is a matching grosgrain ribbon hatband which surrounds the outer crown and that’s trimmed around the top with a narrow black faux leather band. There’s a smart ribbon detail on the right side of the outer hatband. The outer brim is not wired but curls up nicely and is stylishly shaped. The hat is unlined but does have an Ivory inner grosgrain ribbon hatband.

Condition: Very Good

There is one approximately 1” indention under the rolled brim near the placement of the ribbon detail that I believe is a moth bite. It cannot be seen when the hat is being worn. This issue can be seen in the photo of the inside of the hat. The hat is very clean inside and out.
