1970s Catherine Ogust for Penthouse Gallery Print Dress
Here is another 100% cotton dress by Catherine Ogust....this time the print is done in striking shades of brown, gold, black and fiery orange. The style is exactly the same as the previous listing and was owned by the same lady, Colonel Smith, who evidently liked the style and comfort of the Ogust dresses. Mandarin collar, cloth knotted buttons, slit pockets on each side of the dress....the same classic lines as noted before. These dresses look great with or without the Obi style sash. The "Ogust" signature is on the fabric of this dress, too! The contemporary designs of these garments are timeless and the prints are truly spectacular.....very modern!
Condition: Very Good
All buttons are present and accounted for on this dress. Colors are vivid...not showing any signs of fading. There is one small pull in the cotton on the right sleeve.....not noticeable at all, but there just the same (see photo). One nice thing about these dresses by Catherine Ogust....they are fully washable, according to the care label.
Label: Catherine Ogust for Penthouse Gallery, Inc. (and there is a loop for hanging the dress sewn right where this label is sewn into the neckline).
Care Label is, also, present.
