This small little black velvet topper sits upon the head with the assistance of two inner combs....one on each side of the hat. The shape of the hat is not completely round, but with more of a squared appearance. Each of the four "corners" of the hat are detailed with a velvet cord, giving the hat the illusion of four distinct segments. The top center ornament, which seems to bring all the segments together at a central meeting place, is a large velvet covered button which sits primly atop several black grosgrain ribbon ruffles. The final touch, which always adds a touch of mystery to any hat, is the black net veil, which not only generously covers the face, but, also drops a good deal from the sides of the hat. The inside is lined and there is a hand sewn black grosgrain ribbon hatband.
Condition: Very Good
This hat shows very little signs of wear....no fading and very clean. The veil has several very small breaks, but is in very good condition overall.
