If you are looking for a fantastic floral print by the "Master Printer," Alfred Shaheen, you may want to take a look at this wonderful dress. A simple straight (not quite A-Line) style dress, but, oh so far from plain.....the amazing print makes this dress anything but Plain Jane! If the colors used in this print are not spectacular enough, the designer has used a touch of silver metallic paint to outline the flowers and leaves! At the bottom of the dress, a marvelous strip of printed design finishes off the look. The print is done on a polyester type of material (this material, also, has a nice sheen and a little texture) which is over the body of the dress which is done in soft pink rayon. The sleeves are three quarter and are sheer with a turned up cuff.....with a one button closure. The front of the dress closes with five covered buttons. The print is nicely matched all over the dress at all seams.....a true sign of nice workmanship. The dress has a V-Neckline with a notched collar. There is a cloth tie belt and there are side darts at the bustline. One final note, the artist's last name, "Shaheen" is incorporated into the print in an area on the front and back the dress! This dress shouts "Garden Party" !!!
Condition: Very Good
There are several issues with this dress that I will mention and have shown in the photos. First, someone has obviously let the hem down and if you look closely you can see where the original hem was.....this can be put back to it's original length without much trouble, if you should so desire. Next, there are two tiny holes on the inner pink rayon dress....these cannot be seen from the outside of the dress. You must look under the dress to find these small issues. On the left sleeve, on the underside, there is a place in the material that looks as if something caught in the material and made some small areas that don't look like holes, but more like pulls. This is not noticeable when being worn. Finally, there is very slight staining on the inner collar....very slight! Please look at the photos for these issues, none of which take away from the overall beauty of this dress.
