This is a vintage 1960s dress that just looks like what you would want to wear when you go out and party and have a great time! The color is bright hot pink. It’s a little bit of what I think of as Grecian style as it’s a dress with a flowing overlay of sheer rayon. This overlay layer is open at the front but does go all the way around the dress. The neckline is rounded and silver tone braided wide trim that is highlighted with sparkling glass pink aurora borealis round prong set rhinestones. There is also a strip of this same trim just above the bustline on the actual dress that shows under the overlay. The dress does not have darts at the bustline but it does have two seams that extend from the bottom of the trim to the waistline. There are two of the same seams on the back of the dress as well. This gives a bit of tailoring to this sheath dress. Although with the overlay layer this dress seems to be somewhat A-Line, the underdress is a sheath dress and not A-Line at all. The dress is sleeveless and closes at the back with a pink metal zipper that is nicely hidden. There are two metal hook and eye closures at the top of the zipper on the sparkly silver trim. This vintage 60s cocktail dress is totally lined with a matte finish and slightly textured matching pink rayon material and the seams are pinked.
A pair of silver metallic pumps and 60s silver evening bag would be great accessories for this hot pink party dress! It needs no jewelry at the neckline but perhaps a few bangles on the arm and long sparkling earrings and you would be ready to party!!!
This dress has no issues to note and obviously has never been worn at it still has the original maker’s tag and price tag attached. It has been stored well and looks almost like new.

Size: There is a “14” on the Lazarus paper price tag, but I am not sure that is indicative of the size. Just a possibility. But, this dress is NOT size 14 by today’s standards. It’s closer to Size 8. Please refer to the Measurements given below to be sure that you will get a proper fit.
