Faux fur is always in style and this vintage 1960s faux Leopard fur hat is high style, for sure! The brim is ined on the underside with black polyester knit material that is top stitched to give the soft unwired brim a little more shape and stiffener. The crown is high and flat on top and the faux fur is very realistic looking with just the right coloration, print and nap. There’s a black Petersham outer hatband at the base of the crown that has a bow on the right side. The inside of this stylish hat is lined with cream colored faille and there is an inner black Petersham sweatband. Under this inner band is a Union Label, indicating that this hat was made in the U.S.A.
All in all, this marvelous vintage 60s faux Leopard fur hat will be the PURRFECT accessory to your vintage wardrobe and can be worn with so many colors, too!
Condition: Very Good
The outer hatband has faded a little over time and is not dark black as it was when originally purchased. There is just the slightest bit of soiling at the front of the inner sweatband and probably will not even show up in the photos because it is faint. No other issues to note with this lovely hat.
Label: No Designer label is present, but there is a Union Label under the inner sweatband as previously mentioned in the description.
