This vintage 1960s black straw hat projects a very stylish look and can be worn with so many outfits. The hat is rather dramatic with it’s asymmetrically turned up brim on the left side. This style is most especially smart when it’s worn attractively tilted to one side. The right side of the hat dips downward. The crown is high and flat. There is a thin black grosgrain ribbon hat band that surrounds the base of the crown. From the center of the crown there are two strips of the black ribbon extending down to the outer hat band and a wide thin bow. The outer brim is wired all the way around and the lovely black straw has a nice bit of shine that shows the hat off quite well. The inside of the hat is unlined and has an inner black grosgrain ribbon sweatband.
Condition: Very Good
This hat is in extremely good condition with only the very slightest bit of soiling from makeup on the front inner sweatband. And, when I say slight, it’s almost undetectable unless you are really scrutinizing this area. There are no other issues to note regarding condition.
