Here’s a wonderful vintage early 1950’s Beau Brummell silk necktie that almost looks like it’s never been worn. The silk fabric is of such fine quality and is such a nice shade of blue. Not Royal Blue but leaning more toward a lighter shade of Navy Blue with just a little hint of Marine Blue, this silk fabric serves as an attractive background for the colorful floral print that’s done in bright Cardinal Red, pleasing Robin’s Egg Blue and white. There is a lovely floral tone on tone floral pattern woven into the blue silk material that really adds a dressy touch to this necktie. The tie is lined with off-white silk material. This vintage Beau Brummell tie is sure to please any collector of vintage neckties!
P. S. Note that there is a signature woven into the material that can be seen in the photo of the label. It appears to be “Studio”, but I may be reading it incorrectly. I’m sure a collector of Beau Brummell neckties will be very familiar with this and I would certainly be interested in knowing more about this particular line of Beau Brummell ties if they are will to share information!
Condition: Very Good (almost Excellent)
As mentioned previously, this tie has been worn very little and with the exception of slight yellowing of the white silk fabric that lines the necktie, this tie would get an “Excellent” condition rating. There are no other issues to note.
