Here is a rare and beautiful butterscotch Bakelite brooch with a black Bakelite cameo inset.
This piece is bold and beautiful, with a butterscotch frame that evokes a spade-like shape, and a pressed black oval cameo inset.
Circa 1930s, the butterscotch has a nice rich patina.
The piece measures approximately 3" wide and 2 1/2" inches in height, and will stand out on any lapel or V-neck.
The piece is in a good vintage condition, with slight abrasion on the bottom of the cameo, and the usual signs of wear consistent with age. The pin back has been replaced.
