Art Nouveau or Classic style Danish 830 standard silver teapot, decorated with floral and scroll patterns on the matte background band along the body as well as acanthus leaf on the spout. It also has pierced top rim and applied banded base. The lid is decorated with carved finial. Made by Carl M. Cohr, Fredericia, 1910.
This marvelous pot is 5 3/4" long, 4 1/4" wide, 11" from spout to handle, 6" tall (including the lid) and weighs (without the lid) 422.5 grams or 13.62 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
