American 950 sterling silver tea pot with engine turned decorations, and floral engraved cartouche, made Ball Black & Co, 1880.
This handsome pot is 10 7/8" tall, 11" across the handle and the spout, the pot is inscribed: Presented to Geo. Gault by his late partners, Loomis Bullard, H. B. Shute. The pot weighs 988.9 grams or 31.8 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
