Antique English sterling silver footed serving bowl, inscribed along the edge: "Si Deus Nobiscum Quis Contra Nos" - "If God is with Us Who Can be Against Us". The bowl features repousse texture, the foot is fluted and decorated with an ornate border. Made by Alexander Clark & Co Limited, Birmingham, 1912.

This important bowl is 6 1/8" in diameter, 4 1/2" tall and weighs 483 grams or 15.58 ozs Troy.

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
