Shreve & Co. sterling silver centerpiece bowl, having wide flared border in open-work designs and matching foot, both featuring rose & scroll decorations and pairs of cherubs among. Interior is gilt. On the front of the bowl, there is an engraved stylized script monogram "ROP". Marked 6497, Bell Mark. San Francisco, c. 1909-1922.
This spectacular bowl is 11 1/2" in diameter, 9" tall and weighs 1,062 grams or 34.25 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
