Victorian era English sterling silver oval form serving tray with two handles, made by Andrew Crespel & Thomas Parker, London, 1871. It is decorated with engraved patterns and applied beaded rims. No monograms. Full set of hallmarks.
This magnificent tray is 23" long across the handles, 20" long, 16" wide and weighs 2,285 grams or 73.7 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
