Simons Brothers sterling silver tea ball, having oval form body with hinged pointed lid, both fluted and pierced. Lid has attached chain & ring handle. Marked 1933. c. 1900-1920.
This nice tea ball is 1 1/4" in diameter, 2" long and weighs 18 grams or 0.58 ozs Troy. The length of chain is 4".
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
