Mauser Manufacturing Company large sterling silver picture frame, having oval form, decorated with bright cut engraved floral and scroll patterns. It has glass front and wooden back with a red color lining. Marked 1419 and "925/1000 Fine". New York, NY c. 1890-1900.

This glorious frame is 10 3/8" long (with the front support) and 8" wide, silver part weighs 174 grams or 5.6 ozs Troy. Window measures 8 7/8" x 6 3/4".

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
