18th century English sterling silver crescent form bottle tag or label, having an engraved inscription "Lisbon" - Portuguese cherry liquor aka Ginjinha. Made by Peter & Ann Bateman, London, 1791 (1st year registered).
This darling label is 1 1/2" long, 1 1/4" wide and weighs 8 grams or 0.25 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
