American sterling silver huge round form open salt dish, having 3 figural lion paw feet with scroll decorations. Body is fluted and decorated with repousse scroll patterns. Top edge features applied wavy form gadroon rim. Interior has remains of gilding. Marked 1907 on the body and 55 on the foot. Made by Howard & Co., New York, NY.
