English sterling silver pair of small round open salts in banded designs with cobalt blue glass liners. Made by William Vale & Sons, Chester, 1920.
These attractive salts are 1 5/8" in diameter and 1" tall, weighing a total (without glass) 20.2 grams or 0.65 ozs Troy. Salts have some tiny dents.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition, having use marks consistent with age and normal use, with no monograms, removals, repairs or modifications, make this an especially attractive offering.
