1940 Fun With Dick And Jane Child's First Grade Reader
Offered here is the 1940 edition of Fun With Dick and Jane, a cloth over board hardback reader and a classic children's book. The 1940 edition was the first edition published by Scott Foresman. The Elson Gray editions were a little different from the characters and illustrations we've come to love. For instance, Sally was known as Baby in the Elson Gray books. This copy is chocked full of the characters, illustrations, and stories so many of us remember. The book is in very good condition. There is a pencil name and date inside the front cover, a pencil notation inside the back cover, and a stain on the right edge of the front cover. The inside pages are in great condition with very minimal wear, no writing, and a few, small scattered stains.
