The Traveling Bears In New York is a Roosevelt Bears book by Seymour Eaton. It was copyrighted and published in 1915 by Barse & Hopkins, written by Seymour Eaton, and illustrated by V. Floyd Campbell. The book contains 60 pages of delightful rhyming text and illustrations of the famous Teddy B and Teddy G and their travels. There is one beautiful color plate opposite the title page; interestingly enough, this color plate features Buster Brown and Tige with the bears. The covers show wear and staining, the spine has been reinforced, and there is some age staining on some pages and a few have small tears in the margins. This delightful series of books by Eaton surely charmed children of the era and has that same effect on today's readers.
