We found this collection of six pins inside of a very old silver box and since they had been together all this time we share them as a cohesive lot. Two are Skeezix and Shadow from comic strip Walt and Skeezix which began in 1921-22. Two are World War Two bombardment Pep Pills one is the 471st Bombardment squadron and another Pep pin with just the bomb on it; I couldn't find the history of that pin. There is also a Roosevelt Pin in flag colors as well as a CIO St. Louis Union local 328 from August. They are in the condition I found them; I just wanted to share them with some history buffs or collectors. They have been together since the 1930's and 1940's I hope they can stay together for a while longer.
