An elegant Jaeger-LeCoultre Drivers Watch in the Hermes model from 1970. This vintage watch is in great condition, with no scratches on the glass face, and keeps time perfectly. The watch comes with a new crocodile band that is handmade in Italy (and is marked as such), and we are also including the original band that came with the watch. It has a reddish color and is genuine leather, but has not been marked by Hermes, though it coincides with the color of the original band and looks like it. This original band has more wear, so this is why it was replaced, although it still functions suitably.
The watch is reference number 9021.42 and is a unisex watch known as the "Driver" watch by the Parisian label, Hermes. The watch dial-hands are silver, and on the face we see also "Jaeger-LeCoultre" as well as the "Hermes" signature. The numbers on the watch are stylized and refined; the watch is manual wind and the crown to wind is located at the bottom of the rectangular face. The base of the watch is stainless steel.
The watch face measures approximately 7/8 x 1 inches and with the band it is 8-7/8 inches long. On the back, the watch has the reference number noted above as well as the etched words "Hermes Paris" and additional number 1395567.
This watch has a classic vintage look and adds nostalgia to any outfit. It is in great condition making this a rare Hermes find!
