A refreshingly vibrant green emerald ring from the early Victorian era. The ring is made in the style of Georgian half-hoop rings, with flat cut emeralds and set shallow. This is a beautiful antique with feminine ornamentation, and organic designs. All around the band of the ring is a floral pattern. The band has granulated gold work and coil details; it also has bright-cut floral work. The natural elements that inspired this five gemstone ring are accentuated in both color and form. The ring is a size 5-1/4 and features five gems of various sizes: 4.9 mm, 4.5mm and 3.8. There are visible inclusions in the emerald gems. They have been hand cut into an oval shape and fitted into a 14KT gold back, which lightens the ring.
The emerald is typically the birthstone for May, but is also the gemstone for wisdom, faith, and success in love. The green emerald opens up and nurtures the Heart Chakra. This elegant is in excellent condition and would make a unforgettable gift. Circa 1860
Gender: Unisex, Age Group: Adult, Color: yellow and green, Size: 5-1/4
