A beautiful Tiffany & Co. antique coin silver goblet in the form of a barrel, perfect for drinking your favorite beverage. The cup measures 3-1/4 tall by 2-1/4 wide at the mouth and features some excellent engine turned work all around. The central ornament of this piece is a monogram surrounded by floral motifs and some beautifully rendered bright-cut flowers. There are some minor dents in this silver cup but these do not detract from the beauty of this piece. As an antique, it is in excellent quality. It is a rare piece, and one of the earliest. It is not marked with silver content, but tests to coin, which is 900 silver.
The handle on this silver cup has been restored, and today the piece remains in excellent condition. You can tell this goblet has a lot of history to it, and makes a lovely conversation piece. The maker's mark on the base of the cup is the earliest Tiffany & Co. mark, which was founded in 1868.
The goblet weighs 82 grams or 2 troy ounces. It is nice and lightweight, feels great to drink from!
