This is a lovely 14K gold crescent moon and enamel flower necklace. The thin sliver of a moon has 21 seed pearls bead set. Across the moon are two tiny five petal flowers and three leaves that span in soft pink and green tones. The flowers house prong set pearls of 2 mm. The delicate organic designs of this Art Nouveau necklace make it a perfect addition to any elegant outfit. The pearls have a nice luminous soft blue and pink iridescent color on white; they range in measurement from 1mm to 1.5 mm. This in moon is in great condition with no chips to enamel; it measures 1 inches across and just under that in height. This is a conversion piece, the back of the pin was removed and the chain added to make it a necklace. This pin component dates to 1910s and is a wonderful example of Art Nouveau jewelry, where fine sensual designs inspired by nature are highly sought after. The chain was adding to convert the pin into a necklace, with an overall length 16 3/8". The chain is marked 14k and the crescent moon acid tests to be 14k gold.
