This is a stunning bohemian iridescent art glass bud vase, made in the "Helios" pattern by Kralik around 1910. The "Helios" pattern is light ivory glass with a mottled pinkish red texture covering the bottom of the piece. It has a lovely iridescence to it, with light green, pinkish, and purple highlights. The vein-like threading is a deep reddish purple color and has a great, splattered effect to it. This is a gorgeous example of Kralik bohemian art glass.
This vase measures 11" x 3 1/4". It is in excellent overall condition, but there is a tiny spot in which the threading came off a little (see photos). This is normal, since the threading is so delicate. I have other "Helios" pieces by Kralik in my shop. Please contact me to find the art glass piece you are looking for.
