This Georgian era bracelet was once a watch chain; today the combination varied link chain makes a wonderful bracelet. The links alternate between a faceted round link and an elongated loop with a star pattern texture. the links have been individually fastened, and the textures have been hand-hammered with high precision. Some of the patterning and faceting has worn, but this is to be expected of a piece of this age. Regardless, the variety and texture of each link makes this Georgian chain a wonderful find! The links have been tested to sterling silver; they do not have maker's marks but the dog clip at the end has a worn mark at the end. The bracelet measures approximately 8 inches long and the tassel is approximately 1-1/4 inch in size. The tassel is an added gem to this piece, making it stand out, giving the bracelet nice mobility and a chime to it. There are some nice silver ropes with beads at the end that creates this superb tassel. The bracelet weighs a total of approximately 21 grams. It is a very old piece dating back to the 1820s, made in England. This antique makes a great unisex item. Wear alone or add charms to it!
