A small and elegant Rindskopf glass vase of cased, double glass, that has a marbling decoration of dark to light iridescent blues, purples and olive green. This vase is a wonderful piece of Czech Jugenstil glass, from the Bohemian Art Deco period. The vase is 6 1/2 inches high and 3 1/2 wide with a 2 inch opening up top. It has a beautiful British silver collar around the rim that has the hallmarks of an anchor, lion and the letter "e", dating it to 1904. The silver maker is George Ernest Hawkins (G-E-H) and is from Birmingham. The Rindskopf Glass house opened a shop in England at the turn of the century and their work was very popular there. The vase is in great condition, just two tiny dimples in the silver rim.
A great addition to any Art Glass Collection.
