This converted Unger Brothers Belt Buckle can now be worn as a brooch. It is intertwined with a flowing flowers and leaves design. A classic Art Nouveau design on the acid washed sterling silver give this piece a warm glow. The piece has been expertly converted to a pin by removing the center piece for the belt. They left the two tines and soldered them in place so it still has the look of being a belt buckle. On the back is a c clasp and pin making it a great brooch. It weighs 1.36 troy oz. It is 3 1/8" x 2 3/4". The bottom is inscribed Sterling with the Unger Brothers hallmark. The Unger Bros. were one of the most creative and premier manufacturers of Art Nouveau sterling silver items in the United States.
