Mid-Century Striated Chocolate Brown / Black Faux Fur Double Breasted Coat for Child or Very Petite Woman - XS

You can just imagine an older child on her way to church in the '60s, wearing this darling vintage coat with her shiny, black patent leather shoes and white gloves. This tapered waist coat has brownish-black striations, beautifully designed to emulate genuine fur. It is very small so best for a child, small teenager or very petite woman. Our size 4 mannequin model is extremely thin and this coat was slightly too small for her. It is double breasted with swirled brass tone, 7/8" domed buttons and a wide, notched neck collar. There are two hidden pockets on the sides and this coat is lined in sienna brown satin taffeta fabric.

This coat measures 33" long from shoulder to lower hem. It is 14.5" across the shoulders and the bust is 16" wide from seam to seam. It is really best for someone with 30" bust or smaller since you need to factor in the clothing beneath the coat. The waist is 14" across and the lower hem is 23" wide. Each sleeve is 21" long with an 8" arm opening.

Circa 1960s or '70s, this faux fur coat is in overall very good, clean condition. It is without a maker's label. There are two large stains near the lower hem of the interior lining and we have not attempted to remove them. Additionally, the seam of inner lining on one upper arm has unraveled, but still can be worn in as-is condition, please see all photos for detail. All buttons are original and securely intact, and the imitation fur is without loss or shedding.
