Circa 1940s Hazel Atlas Milk Glass Red Strawberry Jelly Jam/Condiment/Refrigerator Jar w/Lid
In the 1940s before ziplock baggies were the norm for storing small items in the fridge we used decorative containers such as this adorable Hazel Atlas Milk Glass Jar. In the shape of a Strawberry, this jar is perfect for jams, jellies, or condiments. In a vibrant red color with green leaves and stem, this lidded jar is 4 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" diameter and weighs 8 oz. It is in very good condition with only tiny areas of paint loss on the lid from ordinary wear.
You'll enjoy seeing this charming little jar each time you open the fridge and no need to transfer its contents to another container as it is table ready. Filled with your own homemade preserves, this would make a perfect housewarming or hostess gift.
