1961 Austin Art Deco Style Faux Bronze Patinated Horse Sculpture ~ Excellent Condition.
For your shopping consideration, we have a stylized horse sculpture made by Austin Productions with an Art Deco motif. It features sleek, sculptural lines and retains its original, bronze-colored paint with a faux patina, meant to simulate verdigris. Made of Durastone® which is a trademarked material similar to chalkware, this horse is a very heavy piece and weighs almost 4 lbs.
It measures approx. 7.75" wide and 6" tall and is about 3" deep. It is signed AUSTIN PROD INC on the bottom.
Circa 1961, this sculpture is in excellent condition with light surface wear. It is without chips or cracks and the only issue to note is the front left hoof which appears to have an indiscernible manufacture flaw, but only noticeable with close observation (see pic #4 for detail).
This is a decorative display for any home or collection.
