Vintage Freemason Masonic White Leather & Embroidery Apron w/ Fringe & Tassels in Frame ~ Excellent Condition.
This is a wonderful collectible for Freemason or Masonic history enthusiasts. Based on our research, this is an apron that would be presented and worn by a member of the Masonic fraternal organization. It is considered an Emblem of Innocence and the badge of a Freemason. This apron is made of white lambskin leather with gold fringe and embroidered Masonic symbols.
This apron was found in a black-painted, wood frame measuring 19" wide and 15.75" high. The apron alone is 15" wide and 12.5" wide. These measurements exclude all attached fringe.
The apron appears to be in excellent condition but has not been examined outside of the frame. The old brown paper backing is still intact on the back, as seen in the pics.
A great addition to any Freemason collection.
